Big Boi will be taking his latest album (and a Loud Village favorite), Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors on tour across the country, kicking off later this month in Tampa Florida. Suitably titled, The Shoes For Running Tour (named after a track on his album) the other half of Outkast will bring on Killer Mike as opening support. This is Big Boi’s first tour in 2 years and surely one not to miss.

Phoenix is back! We couldn’t be more excited for the return of one of our favorite acts. In lieu of their upcoming album, Bankrupt! out April 23, the band released a video for their first single, Entertainment. Made up of Geisha-like characters and Samurai-esque soliders, the Asian-inspired video directed by Patrick Daughters (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) is well-crafted and visually captivating, while simultaneously showing us a different side of the France-based foursome.

With SXSW on the horizon, Austin’s Texas-sized festival of music, media, comedy and more, our friends over at Spin compiled a list of 40 musical acts you don’t want to miss out on. Comedian Chris Gethard is trying to get more views on his video podcast the only way any sane adult would. He is promising to torture himself live on his show based on how popular it gets on iTunes.

Right now he has to do Algebra with an ice pack in his pants while listening to Gangam Style and being slapped. That’s just for being the #1 Comedy Podcast. If he becomes #1 overall, he’ll also be eating deviled eggs with a painted face while wearing a terrible shirt brought by someone in the studio audience. I’ve never known of a cause more worthy than this one. Check it out on iTunes.
